中性树胶，作为一种粘合剂，用于将载玻片和盖玻片粘合在一起，把生物组织切片封起来长久保留。

它有几个特点符合物镜粘合剂的需求：

1、透明度高，几乎和光学玻璃一样清晰。
2、不腐蚀玻璃，因为它是中性的，而玻璃最怕碱性，如果不放心可以在粘合以前用盐酸酒精泡泡晾干再粘可能会更好。
3、不容易长霉，可能是因为中性树胶的溶剂二甲苯有杀霉菌作用。

操作方法

封片方法很简单，在载玻片中央滴2-3滴树胶液（注意要滴在一起否则容易有气泡），然后把盖玻片慢慢放上去，轻轻挤压，树胶液会向外侧扩散至整个镜片，通风晾几个小时后用棉球粘上二甲苯或者松节油把镜片边缘多余的树胶擦洗干净。

Neutral gum, as an adhesive, is used to bond the slide and the cover slip together, sealing the biological tissue sections for long-term preservation. 

Transport and store at room temperature. Valid for 3 years.

>> Properties: Solubility: Insoluble in water.

Operation Method 

The method of sealing the slide is very simple. Drop 2 to 3 drops of gum liquid in the center of the slide (note that they should be dropped together to avoid air bubbles), then slowly place the cover slip on top and gently press it. The gum liquid will spread outward to cover the entire lens. After a few hours of ventilation and drying, use a cotton ball dipped in xylene or turpentine to wipe off the excess gum around the edge of the lens.
