DTT即DL-Dithiothreitol，中文名为二L苏糖醇。分子式为C4H10O2S2，分子量为154.25，纯度>99%。常用还原剂，有抗氧化作用，进口分装。DTT和qiu基乙醇相比，作用相似，但DTT的刺激性气味要小很多，毒性也比qiu基乙醇低很多。而且DTT比qiu基乙醇的浓度低7倍时，两者效果相近，但DTT价格略高一些。是一种还原蛋白质S-S键的试剂；生化研究用作巯基保护剂；酶的专一性抑制剂；测定酶活力。
Dithiothreitol (DTT) is the common name for a small-molecule redox reagent also known as Cleland's reagent.[2] DTT's formula is C4H10O2S2 and the chemical structure of one of its enantiomers in its reduced form is shown on the right; its oxidized form is a disulfide bonded 6-membered ring (shown below). The reagent is commonly used in its racemic form, as both enantiomers are reactive. Its name derives from the four-carbon sugar, threose. DTT has an epimeric ('sister') compound, dithioerythritol (DTE).
